Its the most wonderful time of the year...

Lets put on our helper elf ears and get to work!  In our next meeting, we will all take the time to write out our special letter to Santa, for each letter that we write, Macy's will donate $1 (up to one million dollars) to the make a wish foundation, so lets start writing!

We will also be visiting one of our favorite places were we will do a few crafts, sing a few songs and share sweet treats with our grand friends.. if you guessed the Plattsduetch you are correct.  Mark your calendars for Saturday December 17th at 2:00PM.

Last but not list on or list of good deeds (so far) is our annual toy drive.  We will be collecting new toys from now until December 20th (I will confirm the dates with the Toys for Tots drop site).  Each new toy that we donate will be given to a special girl or boy and is sure to make their Christmas wish come true.

Thanks everyone for everything!

See you all soon

Design it!

Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of  meeting and designing with a fellow Girl Scout and professional designer and carpenter, Leslie Segrete, of TLC's While You Were Out and Trading Spaces!  Leslie was great!  She taught us technique and gave us some great ideas for future designs and was nice enough to sign autographs and take a million pictures with the group.  I absolutely LOVED IT!!

We took great  pleasure in designing the centerpiece's for the annual Girl Scout charity luncheon.

A little hard work goes a long way..

The girls did a great job working with new materials...

... and each other..

Working with Leslie was an inspiration for the group
We definitely have some designers on our hands!

Bowling Rally!

On Sunday, we had a GREAT time at AMF!

Not only did we bowl, we played BINGO and were the first team to finish the scavenger hunt and unscramble the mystery.

Everyone had a really good time and came home with a prize!

A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
